Bouquet Parlay puts you in the garden as a rival flower grower: build valuable Bouquets, block the Flowers your competition needs, call in Favors, and use Parlay cards to fight your way to the top.

Quick reference

How a turn works

Parlay: You may play 1 Parlay card first.
Harvest: If a Bed has 3 legal cards, you must Harvest 1.
Otherwise: Draw 1 Flower, then play 1 Flower or Compost.

Legal completed Bed

3 compatible Flowers; 2 compatible Flowers + 1 Compost; or 1 Flower + 2 Compost. Never 3 Compost.

Blocking

Normal blocking: An opponent’s growing, face-up Flower type blocks everyone. Your own Flowers, Compost, Harvested Bouquets, and substituted Wildflowers do not block.

Calling in a Favor

Place your Favor token on an opponent’s Bed. You may ignore blocking from every Flower type currently shown in that Bed—even when the same type is growing in other Beds—until the favored Bed is Harvested.

The covered types are frozen when the token is placed. Flowers added later are not covered. When the Bed is Harvested, its owner collects the Favor token for 2 points. If it is not Harvested by game end, nobody receives or scores that token.

Flower Effects

Trigger only when played face-up as a Flower. Effects do not chain.

Baby’s Breath: Play 1 additional Flower card.
Ivy: If 1st in a Bed, ignore Ivy; pair the last 2 cards. If played 2nd or 3rd, Ivy follows its printed pairings normally.
Orchid: Draw 1 Flower card, then return 1 card to the Flower Deck bottom.

Scoring reminders

Harvested Flowers score printed value; Compost scores 1. Sprout scores 2 per face-up Flower in one unfinished Bed. Wilt is −2 per 10/9/8/7 left in hand. Favor tokens and unused Parlay cards score 2 each.
