The idea
Grow. Arrange. Harvest.
Build flower beds in groups of 3, score bouquets, and use your garden to make life difficult for everyone else.
Most points wins. The icons at the bottom of each Flower card show which 3-card arrangements work.
1 · Grow
Build a bed of 3
Play Flowers into one of your growing beds. Compatible Flowers make a complete bouquet.
+
+
Example: Rose + Lily + Baby's Breath is a complete bouquet. Harvested value: 10 + 8 + 2 = 20.
2 · Compost
Can't use it? Flip it.
Play a card face-down as Compost to fill a spot without adding a Flower type.
10 + 8 + 1 Compost = 19
Compost is worth 1 point when Harvested. It has no Flower type, so it doesn't match, block, or get blocked.
Flower Effects
Some Flowers bend the rules
Flower Effects trigger only when played face-up as a Flower. Resolve the card’s effect; Flower Effects do not chain.
Baby’s BreathPlay 1 additional Flower card.
IvyIf 1st in Bed, ignore Ivy; pair last 2 cards.
OrchidDraw 1 Flower, then return 1 card to the deck bottom.
Ivy only bends pairing when it starts a new Bed. Played second or third, it follows its printed pairs normally.
3 · Block & Favor
Their garden can stop yours
If an opponent has that Flower growing face-up, your matching Flower is blocked.
ROSE BLOCKED
FAVOR
That Bed’s current Flower types are unblocked for you everywhere
Place Favor on an opponent’s Bed and freeze the Flower types currently in it. You ignore those types everywhere until that Bed is Harvested. Flowers added later are not covered. If the Bed is never Harvested, nobody receives the token.
4 · Wildflowers
Poppy can stand in for Rose
The first icon box on Poppy shows its allowed substitution. Mark it with the white Substitute token.
SUB
Poppy → Rose for matching · Poppy still scores 6
A substituted Wildflower uses the shown Flower for bouquet legality, but scores its own printed value. While substituting, it doesn't block as Poppy or Rose.
5 · Harvest
Cash in the bouquet
Harvest completed beds for points. A bouquet with a Wildflower also earns a Parlay card.
6 + 8 + 2 = 16
DRAW 1 PARLAY
Harvest = add the printed values + 1 for each Compost. With Wildflowers in play, Harvesting a bouquet containing one lets you draw 1 Parlay card.
Parlay Cards
Help yourself — or mess with a rival
Parlay cards come in two flavors: Cultivate cards give your garden an advantage, while Weed cards interfere with your opponents.
Cultivate · Help yourself
OR
Weed · Mess with a rival
Play them at the time shown in the full rules, then resolve the card exactly as written.
Cultivate gives you useful advantages. Weed cards let you throw a problem into someone else's garden.
6 · Score
Quick scoring
Your Harvests do most of the work. Awards and end-of-season bonuses can swing the finish.

Example total55
During play: score each Harvest.
Season's End: add Awards, +2 per Favor, +2 per unused Parlay, then apply Wilt (−2 for each 7–10 value Flower left in hand). The full rules cover Final Play, Final Harvest, Sprout, and all tie/edge cases.
Highest final score wins. Awards reward different styles of play, so there is more than one way to build a winning garden.
That's the loop
You're ready to grow.
Remember 4 things
- Build your beds in groups of 3.
- Compost bad draws instead of wasting them.
- Watch opponents' face-up Flowers — they can block you.
- Use Favor and Wildflower substitutions when the garden gets crowded.
